    Another problem

    Hmm since a moment ive lil annoying details .

    example all maps with snow or sand .... there is way too much light .

    And it doesnt appear all the time like u will see on the pic ..

    sometimes i change settings then its okey next map ... its back again.

    like that :

    Do you know what should i do to fix that ?





    It worse on Fueldump ..

    uts good graph card never had problems ... just recently that stuff came , but i changed settings thats why dont know how to get it back now ...

    cant really play on snow map im like crying while playing xD

    brightness = 1.30 ... so thats not the prob

    seta r_overBrightBits "0"


    seta r_mapOverBrightBits "3"


    Try to change these settings a bit, if wont work, just post ur r_ settings.

    seta r_overBrightBits "1" and its back to normal i think

    after cvar_restart

    well i didnt have that problem in past , just came recently

    just add

    seta r_overBrightBits "0"


    seta r_mapOverBrightBits "3" or lower

    exec ur cfg , do cvar_restart and thats all.

    when i switched back to xp i got that problem , under win 7 or other , didint have

    splashy Very Happy on some maps like Oasis or snow maps you can try do

    seta r_mapOverBrightBits 2 or 2.5

    and dark maps seta r_mapOverBrightBits 3

    I too had once that problem,it wasnt the problem with cfg or crap like that,it was my system..i had vista there if it was selled first time...and fista (and win7 too) dont like r_ mode configurations...sometimes work sometimes it is that high like on your ss...i fixed it with downloading xp ^^
    ..but i heard of an update for this prob. so just check out for any updates..

    when i was under vista or win 7 didnt have that problem .
